OSA Plays the Record: The Best Of Both Worlds - I Want The World To Know OG Soul 45 1975

If you caught the post of the flip of this 45, then you were prepared for what you've heard here. There's no doubt sexy lady moans on slow jams were a thing around that time. Major Harris's "Love Won't Let Me Wait", "Jungle Fever" from the Chackachas, and Marvin Gaye's "You Sure Love To Ball" are just the 1st three I've pulled out of my brain. All three make great use of the moaning and cooing, making those songs way more dynamic and fascinating than if there were no audio porn at all. On the other hand, "I Want The World To Know" feels contrived and downright cringy in parts. Sometimes, though, it's fun to put a record on just to watch people squirm in the uncomfortable moments.
