I swore up and down that I would NEVER leave New York. That city breathed life into me, and also hustle and discipline. I eventually subleted my 650sq ft Brooklyn Heights apt for 3 months to try my hand at Pilot season in LA. I fell in love with CA, and I decided I was NEVER going to leave LA. It was definitely more my vibe. AND I got to get my car back. Even though I was only making $7.25 an hour at LA fitness vs $350 an hour as a fit model in NY, I somehow felt more free, more happy, less stressed. I would drive the coast when I needed some space, and "network" on the weekends at C and D list actor parties. I was determined to inject that New York hustle into my new LA life. But one thing's for sure, people change--including their lifestyle. I met a man from Oregon, we got married, had kids 5 years later, and we both agreed that we wanted our kids to be kids and have the life our families provided for us, but I still wanted to be in the entertainment industry. So it was off to ATL we went. The North Georgia suburbs was a great fit for us. Here's a glimpse of life here vs the city life, I was so used to in NY and LA.
