EASY MALBORO FIGHTS In Final Fantasy VIII!

A Special Highlight from my Final Fantasy VIII LiveStream! Here we TRY OUR STRENGTH against the ALMIGHTY "Malboro" ENEMY! This enemy can be FOUGHT AS EARLY AS DISC 2 when you have Balamb Garden MOBILE, and THUS, can be FOUND in Esthar-Grandidi Forest! You MUST HAVE COMPLETED the "Chocobo Sidequest" to REACH this AREA though, as you will need the CHOCOBO to get across the SEA Back And Forth Between the FOREST and Balamb Garden! This enemy can be TOUGH, but with the RIGHT SETUP you should have NO PROBLEMS with him! There's 2 WAYS you can GUARD AGAINST his "Bad Breath" Attack: StatusDEFx4 And Ribbon! If your playing the ORIGINAL PSX Version, you most likely don't have ACCESS to the "Ribbon" Ability and that's OKAY!

Malboro Strategy As Follows
1. EVERY Character should have the SPELLS "Pain", "Confuse", "Berserk", and "Break" on their StatusDEFx4 Junctions. This way they will ONLY BE afflicted with "Slow" And "Sleep", which is not so bad.
2. The Malboro will MOST LIKELY OPEN UP in the BATTLE with "Bad Breath". His other 2 Attacks are Eerie Sound Wave, and Dissolving Acid. Dissolving Acid is a GRAV-BASED Attack so it can't really kill you. Just HACK AWAY at the Malboro with Physical Attacks it has the MOST HP of Any NORMAL ENEMY in the game but at LOW LEVEL, doesn't have much HP. Because he has LOTS OF HP, he's REALLY EASY to CARD so if you wanna AVOID EXP! You can MUG them for Malboro Tentacles!
3. IF your playing the REMASTER OR the STEAM Version, you CAN get the "Ribbon" item! In REMASTER they took out "Chocobo World", BUT, SEVERAL of those items that can be OBTAINED from Chocobo World are OBTAINED through "Angelo Search" in the REMASTER! In the STEAM Version, they IMPLEMENTED the Chocobo World Minigame INTO the GAME itself! However, getting those RARE ITEMS is A CHORE, as there is A LOT INVOLVED with it, such as getting the items, and the CODED #s of said items. Ribbon teaches GFs the "Ribbon" Ability, which does JUST LIKE it does in ANY OTHER FF Games! It's NO DIFFERENT! However, in this game, "Ribbon" DOES NOT PROTECT AGAINST "Death", you MUST have that on your StatusDEF! -- Watch live at   / alanp36
