Beet Harvesting: ROPA 'Panther' and 'Tiger' Combines in Action | Erlengrat | FS 22 | Timelapse

Welcome back to the Erlengrat Farm Timelapse. Our operations begin at the recently established sawmill, where we load empty pallets to transport to our production facilities. Additionally, we facilitate the delivery of sheep wool and milk for further processing. Upon completing these tasks, we return to our base and prepare our equipment for gathering straw, a byproduct of the barley harvest. Our trusty CLAAS XERION 4200 SADDLE TRAC handles the task of raking and baling, while the DEUTZ-FAHR 8280 TTV couples with the bale stacker. The resulting straw bales are then transported to our pellet production facility.
With the straw collected, we shift our focus to the sugar beet harvest. Across our three beet fields, we commence with the smaller ones. One of our ROPA PANTHER 2 combines, operating alongside a HOLMER TERRA VARIANT 650 equipped with two loader trailers, takes the lead in the field. To efficiently transport the harvested beets, we employ two CLAAS XERION 4200 SADDLE TRAC tractors with trailers and a SCANIA HKL truck equipped with two trailers. This fleet can accommodate a substantial 200,000 liters of beets.
As our operations become more streamlined, we decide to invest in another beet harvester, opting for the ROPA TIGER 6S. This choice aligns with our increasing profitability, driven by direct beer sales to wholesale buyers from our warehouse. Upon reaching the beet field, we reposition the combine and set it to work. Upon completion of one field, our equipment is swiftly relocated to the next, ensuring a continuous and efficient beet harvest.
