In today's video, Dylan from Alarm Grid shows you how to clear a trouble condition from the Qolsys IQ Panel 4. A trouble condition can result from a wireless sensor failing to check in with the panel. A tamper condition, an RF Jam situation, where the panel's receiver is being inundated with signal on its frequency, and more. What you'll need to do to correct a trouble condition depends on what the trouble condition is. If it's a tamper, you'll need to be sure the cover is properly installed on the sensor and that it is properly mounted. If it's an RF Supervision issue, you'll need to determine why the sensor can't get a signal to the main panel. You can refer to the Setup Guide and the Owner's Manual for full information on each trouble condition and how to resolve it.

Once the issue causing the trouble display has been corrected, the display should clear automatically after a few seconds. The trouble message, which remains in memory, must be acknowledged and cleared manually. To do that, click the envelope icon in the upper right. You'll know you have unacknowledged messages because there will be a red circle with a number in it next to the envelope, indicating the number of uncleared messages.

Once you click on the envelope, tap the option at the top of the screen for Alerts/Alarms. You can choose to acknowledge and clear only certain messages, or all messages. You'll be prompted to be sure you want to proceed. Click OK and all messages you selected will be acknowledged and removed from the display.
