PERFORMANCE SNOWMOBILE CLUTCH KIT 600 e-tec | HOW A SKI-DOO CLUTCH WORKS

Описание к видео PERFORMANCE SNOWMOBILE CLUTCH KIT 600 e-tec | HOW A SKI-DOO CLUTCH WORKS

We did some clutching to improve the performance of the 2009 Ski-Doo Rev XP MXZ X 600 e-tec with Back Yard Recreation in Ayr Ontario Canada.

Learn how a primary clutch TRA clutch works, clickers, helix, and spring and what affect they have on your snowmobile performance. We have been snowmobiling on this clutch set-up for 1 season and have been dialing it in throughout the winter.

Secondary 600 e-tec Clutching for More Power:
We replaced the stock 48 degree Helix with a 43/47 degree helix. My local ski-doo BRP dealer would not sell me a helix direct so I found the NOS on ebay for about $100

Primary 600 e-tec Clutching for Max Power:
The stock primary spring is a blue/blue 130lb/290lb which had clutch engagement at around 3400RPM. We replace the stock spring with a Purple/Blue 160lb/290lb Spring which raised engagement to aroun 3800-4000rpm. We ordered the spring from my local ski-doo Dealer (PN# 415034900). The spring was about $30 in Canada if I recall.

We have set our clickers down to 1 and future plan is to add a weighted pin kit to the primary rollers to keep it in the RPM to add 1/2 to 1 gram weight as it still seems a bit light and have hit the Rev Limit on rare occassion.
