POE 3.25 Ultimate Guide to Crop Rotation Harvest

Path of Exile is full of fun "mini-games" in its endgame mapping, and Harvest with Crop Rotation is certainly my favorite by far. The delicate balance of risk and reward, and the potential for huge jackpots if you play things right has intrigued me since it was first added to POE just over one year ago.

I loved it so much, that I decided to undertake a quest to "solve" it, which eventually led me to simulating millions of randomly generated Sacred Groves in Python to refine my decision making strategies. But what I found when I looked at the data from these simulations absolutely shocked me: a truth running almost completely counter to the conventional wisdom about optimal crop color distributions in the Sacred Grove. And despite my best efforts to poke holes in my methodology, this shocking result was only cemented by more and more evidence, especially when I finally put the theory into practice, and started seeing significantly higher yields from my Crop Rotations.

In this video, I'll share why I believe a strategy favoring a small plurality of Yellow Crops is the best way to run Crop Rotation, and explain more about how to truly optimize your Lifeforce returns in light of this revelation.
