Baby products don’t work for most adult humans, and I’m going to explain why.

Baby products are pH balanced, and contain ingredients which fortify skin which doesn’t produce oils (like that of infants) since it only learns to do so for itself after a point.

So, if you use it on yourself, you might find your skin, especially parts of your body with large pores, getting clogged and feeling greasy.

The adult body has much larger pores than a baby’s and is much oilier on average, meaning it needs a whole other level of cleansing and moisturising

Here’s why baby products seem to suit some people

If someone has normal skin with no large pores and no tendency to break out, any basic skincare product will work for them

So, if it worked for your friend who claims they don’t do skincare and only believe in “simple products”, remember, it might not necessarily work for you!
