The common narrative claims that Sonic the Hedgehog skipped the Sega Saturn. People believe the blue blur was abandoned by his creators, Sonic Team, who were too bust making new IPs NiGHTS into Dreams and Burning Rangers to create a new 3D Sonic game for the Saturn.

Many people believe that Sega Technical Institute were left holding the baby, being left to develop the ill-fated Sonic X-treme, while Traveller's Tales then had to pick up the broken pieces with a rushed port of Sonic 3D and the racing game, Sonic R. Sonic's absence is often quoted as single-handedly causing the Saturn's downfall.

What if I told you that isn't entirely true? That Sonic Team did work on Sonic titles for the Sega Saturn, and that, much like Shenmue, Sonic Adventure was originally in development for the 32-bit machine?

In this video, I'll reveal facts about Sonic's past that will change your perception on his entire Saturn career, as well as dream up my ideal 32-bit Sonic title! You don't want to miss this!
