Caribbean Cruise on Norwegian Escape

This is our cliff-notes version of our 1 week cruise aborad the Norwegian Escape with NCL. There is a major difference in everything between NCL & MSC, whom we've sailed with 4 times.

The biggest disappointment for us with the food. We were not too pleased, as foodies, with the food on board the Escape. We have 1 more cruise we won to take with NCL but we'd never pay for NCL after our disappointment with the service, food, and lack of luxury we experience on NCL. If I'm paying, it'll be MSC as even the ships of MSC give you the luxurious look, feel & treatment. I'm happy I didn't pay for NCL or I'd have been very disappointed. Since we didnt pay except for the balcony upgrade & drink package we barely used, we couldn't really complain.

The ports of call on this 1 week at sea was Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic & Tortola, British Virgin Islands, & St Thomas US Virgin Islands, as well as NCL's private island being Great Stirrup Cay which is really just a beach day.
