About Columbia College
The Jan Pragati Education Society (JPES) has a rich and proud heritage of academic excellence and is a leading house in the field of Pharmacy, Engineering & Technology, Nursing, Management, School and Teacher's Education. JPES began its journey with the establishment of the Columbia College of Pharmacy in 2004 with a motto of imparting valuebased education in the field of pharmacy and providing services for the welfare of mankind. The Columbia Institute of Engineering and Technology, Raipur (CIET, Raipur) was established in the year of 2008 followed by the Columbia College of Nursing in 2011. The next Milestone set by JPES was in the year 2013 in the form of Columbia College for B.Ed. Course and D.El.Ed. Course started from 2019. Columbia College is approved by NCTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

The organization aims to spread awareness and importance of education among the people of urban, rural and tribal area. Education is the only tool for the development of the nation. It not only aware the people regarding the happenings, events and problems of the surrounding but brings all round development of the individual. About Faculty Development Programme
Education system needs qualitative research to understand needs, requirements and identification of problems within the system leading the pathways towards holistic developments in all its components including objectives, curricula, strategies, methodologies, innovative trends, administration, managements, social responsibility of the educational institutions, application of educational policy etc. From developing to evaluative phase Education System, needs significant research to identify areas of improvements and developing new trends and sequences. The task requires expertise and research aptitudes among academicians, scholars, and students, this perspective brings the idea to organise faculty development program on “Fostering a Culture of Research Excellence in Education" and creating an opportunity for the academia to harness and foster research excellence so that educational fraternity will contribute in the field of research with the purpose of bringing qualitative development in our educational endeavours.

3. To enhance knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research
4. To provide significant knowledge of Sampling and Hypothesis
5. To provide techniques of Data Analysis using SPSS and Excel
6. To explore the application of AI in Research with hands-on experience
