3 Days in the Smoky Mountains National Park

We are taking an RV cross country road trip adventure for the first time.

On this leg we spent 3 days exploring the Smoky Mountains National Park, the most visited National Park in the US, and found a few "secret" locations.

We stayed Pine Mountain RV Park and really liked the location and our site, which backed up to a creek and farm, and it also allowed us access to the swimming pool across the street at the hotel, but we didn't have the time to take them up on that.

I split our 3 days in the Smokies into areas, the top of the mountains at Clingmans Dome, Roaring Fork, and Cades Cove. We also found 3 somewhat secret places, the Thomas Divide Tunnel, House of the Fairies, and the Troll Bridge, none of them were very easy to find but we did it! We also used the GyPSy Guide App to give us more information and suggestions.

We really enjoyed the Smoky Mountains National Park and would love to go back and explore more, but we had to continue west to our next stop.
