Dr. Shirley Ann Jackson talks about intentionality in education for underrepresented groups and investing in minorities.

Dr. Jackson is the president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the ex-chairwoman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the first African-American woman to receive a doctorate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a 2014 National Medal of Science Laureate.

An Evening With Shirley Ann Jackson took place April 25, 2019, at the Howard University. The conversation was led by Dr. Bruce Jones, the Vice President of Research at Howard.
