Israeli protests unlikely to put pressure on Netanyahu to end Gaza war: Analysis

Israel has been rocked by protests in recent days to pressure Netanyahu to reach a ceasefire in Gaza and secure the release of all captives. Israeli political commentator Ori Goldenberg told Al Jazeera that such pressure was unlikely to yield any results because “Netanyahu feels quite comfortable being perceived as the leader of the anti-protest side” and opposes demonstrations that are “perceived as partisan”.
