Ok so that scene huh.
I knew I wanted to make content as soon as I'd read VoS but I didn't know I'd get it done this fast lmao. I'm aware this animatic is very confusing- I tried to cram wayyy too much into the chorus, so it's just kiiind of a mess?? I was going to add base colours beneath the characters to help the viewer keep track of them but it ended up just looking very ugly and very confusing so uhhh hopefully you can still kinda tell what's going on?
Basic rundown here, in case you're totally lost, is that Thunderclan leader Bramblestar is being possessed. Spotfur and Stemleaf watch the argument between their group of rebels- spearheaded by Tigerstar II who wants to kill Bramblestar's body, as he believes him to have murdered his son, and Squirrelflight, Bramblestar's mate. They firmly fall on the "let's kill Bramblestar" side of the "how do we deal with this impostor" debate, disagreeing with Squirrelflight's more pacifist/lassez faire approach to the situation (she wants to keep Bramble's body safe). Going behind Squirrelflight's back, they launch an attack on Bramblefake with friends Dappletuft, Conefoot and Kitescratch and uh... fail. Bramblestar kills Dapple and Cone, as well as Spot's boyfriend Stemleaf. Bristlefrost, a cat previously in love with Stemleaf, runs to get help for Bramblestar (as she's sworn to Squirrel to keep his body safe) and after returning, faints upon the sight of his body. Spotfur and Kitescratch turn and flee the scene.
