A quick glance at Matthew Broughton's work reveals a striking versatility; he also wrote 'The Rain Maker', a brooding play that draws on Folk Horror themes, and 'Vincent Price and the Horror of the English Blood Beast', a charming and comical account of the making of a 1970s horror film. 'Demon Brother' is different once again, more of a psychological thriller - but it certainly draws on Gothic themes and precedents too. To say more would be to risk spoiling the story, however...
