Yay for head colds! Lol, I started this like... weeks ago, and I finally finished it while laying sick in bed. I think it turned out pretty well, considering I haven't done any A/E in a while. Sorry about that, too... it's not that I'm getting tired of them, I'm just hoping to save some songs for when August finally shows his beautiful face again. Cause you know he's coming back, and you KNOW he and Emma are going to have some juicy (if not heartbreaking) scenes, what with the Neal catastrophe and all that. I just hope she and August patch things up. They're so cute together, and have the potential for such a real friendship, because seriously... look back at season 1. Aside from Mary Margaret, he was her only true, best friend. They need to be together... or at the very least, find some closure and be friends.

Okay, ending my rant now. Sorry for all that, but making this gave me all sorts of feels that I just needed to let out. August's made mistakes, yeah, but haven't we all?

summary; Before Neal, there was August. Two years before Emma meets Neal, August leaves her with the promise that he'll come back when she's eighteen. By that time, she's already out of the system. August, after convincing Neal to leave Emma, waits for her to get out of prison, but ends up losing track of time in Phuket. Ten years later, he arrives at her front doorstep in Boston and they go back to Storybrooke.
