I originally wrote this song for my wife. Even before my wedding I took the covenant of marriage very seriously. I have always loved the thought that world has no authority over the covenant made between a man and a woman before the eyes of God. My wife and I haven't always been able to have the best life that the world can offer. Any time we were broke and had to make a plan we would sit and say that one day we will look back at these moments and laugh. We might not of lived with the best but we lived beautifully.

I thought that this song would be so relevant to all the Christian couples out there that take their covenant as sacredly as I do. So I dedicate this song to all the couples that are getting married, or planning to, and to all those who have made their marriages last through thick and thin.
