Telangana minister Gangula Kamalakar falls from boat, rescued

Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar escaped unhurt after falling into a lake in Karimnagar district on Thursday. This is the second time in two months that the minister has been involved in a freak accident. Kamalakar was attending a function in Asifnagar village in Kothapalli mandal of Karimnagar district. While trying to get on a boat, he slipped and fell into the lake. He was quickly rescued by his security personnel. In April, Kamalakar was injured in a stage collapse at a public function in Karimnagar. He suffered a leg injury and had to use a walker for some time.
