EDIT 7/1/18 : I was rewatching this video and I noticed I may have not done such a great job explaining, so I thought it would be cool to try to leave an edit in the description to save you all some time.

So basically all you need to do to collect all of the bone skins is to (at least at the time of recording) use the console commands located in this website - http://www.feariun.com/the-island.html - to collect every single dossier AND journal entry available in the game FROM THE ISLAND MAP ONLY. You will also need to collect the dossiers of the bosses - gorilla / spider / dragon / chimera / rockwell (I think the chimera/ rockwell aren't needed but just kill them to make sure). ALL of this is done in single player.

The console commands are used to teleport your character to where the dossiers / journals are located. Well that's pretty much it I hope this helps you all out a bit more.
