The webinar "From Price to People with TB: Access to Medicines and Advocacy for WHO-Recommended Tuberculosis Treatment Regimens" is aimed at strengthening the knowledge and advocacy capacity of civil society representatives and TB-affected communities in Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA).
Participants will learn about mechanisms of drug pricing and access, as well as effective advocacy strategies related to WHO-recommended short, fully oral regimens for drug-resistant TB (DR-TB).
The event will help link global discussions on access to medicines with community-level action, enhancing participants’ ability to advocate for equitable, sustainable, and people-centered TB treatment scale-up.
The event is part of the "The ABC for TB Activist" webinar series and is organized by the TB Europe Coalition in partnership with the Centre for Global Health Policy & Politics (GHPP) and the Treatment Action Group (TAG) within the Combat DR-TB interregional project, funded by Unitaid.
