MCRN is a nationwide community consisting of undergraduates, graduate students post dos and faculty, all working together to combat one of the humanities most important topics, climate issues.

MCRN has developed a novel form of both research organisation and education. It leverages the web to connect distributed groups in research collaborations and training of students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

MCRN’s innovative approach has empowered early career researchers to learn both the needed mathematics and the issues of climate science. This has been achieved by collecting together a group of interested, and concerned, senior scientists and connecting them with the junior researchers by using web conferencing and collaboration tools.
