Assalam o alaikum

This Pathan girl asked Dr Zakir naik a question but he was unable to answer it but I will try to answer this question. Alhamdulillah.

I won't say that I have more knowledge than Dr Zakir so such question should not come in your mind. I believe Dr Zakir naik also had the answer to this question but may be he didn't properly understood the question. I salute to his knowledge. I consider him my teacher as I have learned a lot from him. I would rather say that Allah has blessed Dr Zakir naik with a beautiful garden and I have just a flower.

So, I was in search of the answer to this question since long as people were texting and asking questions like this that a lot of people looks religious, they pray 5 times, fast in the month of Ramadan and still they are involved in a lot of big sins like pedophilia, interests over wealth. I was also in search of answer to this question but I found it now.

I will explain this through an example.

When we offer prayers, fast in month of Ramadan, do charity and follow the 5 pillars of Islam, this makes us only Muslim and we are given a label of " Muslim" due to this. This isn't the whole Islam but there's a very important step next to it which is called taqwah and this step
completes our imaan. As Allah says in Quran " Guidance is for those who fears ( have taqwah) ".

So the answer to this question should be: our society has just followed step one which is the basic fundamental step and not yet get into the next step which is taqwah. If we all start fearing Allah then no such weird sins be remain in our deeds.

Let's give an example if we want to cook chicken dish and we take the pot and put chicken, oil, water and chicken masaalah and all other stuff in it and start sitting beside. So is it possible for the chicken dish to cook by itself. Absolutely No. Because we haven't placed it over the fire which is the most important and crucial step. Same is taqwah.

So I think this should be the answer to question like this. I apologize if I made a mistake as I am not a scholar but I want to learn Islam and share it with my Muslim brothers and sisters.
