The "cottage cheese pie"
dough turns out to be very soft and airy. The pie remains tender even after 2 days.
Ingredients for the dough:
📌 flour 450 g
📌 milk 250 ml
📌 yeast 1 pack (7 g)
📌 sugar 60 g
📌 vanilla sugar
📌 salt 1/2 h l
📌 butter 80 g
📌 2 egg yolks
For the filling:
📌 cottage cheese 9% - 500 g
📌 sugar 70 g
📌 dried fruits on request
📌 2 eggs
📌 corn starch 1.5 tbsp
1. For the dough, mix warm milk, yeast and sugar 2 tsp. Leave for 15 minutes. Next, add the remaining ingredients: melted butter, 2 yolks, salt, flour, vanilla sugar and knead a soft dough. We send it to a warm place for an hour.
2. For the filling, mix all the ingredients. If the cottage cheese is granular, then you can grind it with an immersion blender.
3. Divide the dough into 2 parts and assemble the pie. Everything is shown in the video.
4. Grease the pie with yolk mixed with milk and send it to a preheated 180'S oven for 20-25 minutes.
