What if Love was Free? (Acoustic Version)

I wrote this song a few years ago and this week I’ve been pondering this idea of “free love”.

The world just doesn’t work this way where one could be loved deeply and intimately without first proving themselves to be qualified or worthy of such love.

I thought this reality of the world to be so wrong because GOD doesn’t treat us this way so why should we treat each other like this?

I had this mentality of “love should be free” in my soon to be dissolved marriage. And I can now see the reality of what likely happens when you love for free…
