Back in early 2018 we were fortunate enough to produce a documentary video on the General James Taylor Mansion in Newport, Kentucky. As far as I know this is the only video showing the inside of the home that is available to the general public. The original log home was built at this location in 1797. In 1813 the beautiful Belle Vue Mansion was constructed. In 1837 the mansion was burnt to the ground by a disgruntled slave and then rebuilt in 1842.
