It’s Spring Break here. And while many homeschoolers don’t take Spring Break off, we do (because my husband Stéphane is a teacher and has the week off too.) So, we took advantage of Dad being off for the week and headed to Toronto.

Our youngest asked to study oceans this month and so it was the perfect time to hit up Ripley’s Aquarium. We saw so many amazing fish and sea creatures. We also visited the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) and they just happened to have a special exhibit on the Great Whales. This extended field trip was great and I’m excited for you to come along and see how I tied it all together for the kids.
