2023 2022 Whiskey Off-Road 30-Proof 4K Full Course Ride (Uncut) Prescott, AZ XC MTB Race

This is the 2022 Whiskey Off-Road 30-Proof 4K Full Course Ride (Uncut). In 2020/2021, the Whiskey Off-Road was canceled because of COVID-19. So, I did the next best thing and went out with my camera and rode the FULL Whiskey Off-Road 30-Proof course. (For 50 Proof see below).
I recorded this within a few days of the original Whiskey date, so this is more or less the conditions the racer would have experience that day had the race happened.

A couple details regarding this ride/video:
• For safety reasons I did not go out there and smash the trails on my race bike at race pace, but I did try to keep a steady pace for the viewer to enjoy.
• Although I typically ride this course without stopping and the title says “Uncut,” the ride was only interrupted to swap out batteries into my camera as needed. This did not cause any missing video of any trail.
• As you will see, I chose to Fast forward most of the paved and dirt road sections for time, but it’s all there (apologies for the unintended video jerkiness during out of saddle pedaling).
• There were significant logging operations mostly in and around Whiskey trail(s) 327/321/323/326/392 during the past winter and into spring. This temporarily left logging equipment ruts and some wide areas on the above trails.
• There was road construction on Goodwin Street and Copper Basin Road.
• Typically, the month or so prior to the Whiskey, many riders pre-ride the course(s). This allows the trails to get “worked in” prior to race day. This did not occur this year so most of the course is in its more raw and natural state.
I hop on my hardtail trail bike with my camera, spare batteries, charger, and ride the full 2020-2022 Whiskey Off-Road (That never was) 30-Proof course in its entirety...
