Dera Baba Bhuman Shah is a grand and magnificent structure in a village called Bhuman Shah in tehsil Depalpur, district Okara, Punjab, Pakistan. It is 17 km from Depalpur, 8 km from Haveli Lakha, 40 km from Pakpattan and about 150 km from Lahore.
It was dera of a famous Udasi saint Baba Bhuman Shah who was born in a village Behlol Pur near Depalpur. He was born in 17th century.
He was equally revered by all communities, sikhs, hindus, muslims and others. An annual fair was held in Bhuman Shah where thousands of devotees participated.
A proverbial langar (food) was served here round the year. Hundreds of persons used to fill their bellies.
It is a huge building having mighty residential haveli, a beautiful gurdwara, samadhis of mahants, prayer halls and rooms, residential quarters and much more.
In 1947, Mahant Girdhari Das ji was serving at Dera Baba Bhuman Shah. They had to leave the place.They established dera in a village Sangar Sadha in district Sirsa of India.
It is an amazing edifice.
