December 8, 2020: Catfish can be picky... Sometimes the bait makes all the difference.


In this video I head out onto the Ohio River to do some suspend drifting for catfish. I spent the first part of the day catching mooneye around barge hardware. My only other bait was a bag of frozen skipjack and one bag of frozen gizzard shad. I only brought a couple of skipjack with me and, as luck would have it, that's what the cats were wanting to eat that day.


Ended up catching a few nice fish and, as always, had a good time out on the river. Come along and see how it went...
