Today I'm exploring San Juan which is one of the many Mayan villages that surround Lake Atitlan in Guatemala! This is the first time in my life that I decided to trust a tour guide because I personally found a lot of interest in things he promised to show me!
One of them was to show me the whole process of creating these fancy traditional clothes that all the local women around me had.
The craziest part was not only the long, hard and complicated work required to make these clothes .. But some bigger and stricter requirements (unwritten laws) that may seem unusual to me or you, but to other people in our lovely planet is just a normal part of their culture.
