I played the first game,got all the DLC.
Initially I wanted an overview but many changes have happened to the game after the initial demo feedback wave so I chose to showcase the only feature that is pretty much the same now. the structure is similar to how they did it in
Endzone 1, by the way I loved this dlc    • Distant Lands - Endzone a World Apart

got the ea access version in march 2025 on a sale
game is currently in early access standing overall with mixed reviews, but that slowly changes to positive due to constant updates and community suggestions inclusion.
-The general feel for me Is that it borrowed the general structure from Anno for this iteration, sectors seem like Anno islands with fertilities and such and the trade between them is performed with vehicles instead of ships, that helps the worker manager to be more efficient.
-The new housing system didn't sit well with players but that is/will be adjusted more in the future.
-We can expect most of what Endzone 1 had and more
-workshop was added as a first for the series, tools for modding are still being worked on to be able to make more complex mods in the future.
