Trimming to Address Hoof Flares

Dave Farley, CF APF-I is working on an Icelandic Horse in a recent clinic held at Stockhoff's Horseshoes and Supplies. This 23 year old mare had been barefoot for most of the winter and has good hoof growth but developed significant flares. Dave walks the attendees through his method of trimming and addressing flares of the right front foot prior to shoeing the mare.
