Kaplan Point of View: New Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam

At the 2015 ARM Educational Conference, FINRA announced a proposal to change how individuals will be registered at the representative level in the securities industry. Candidates will be able to take an industry core exam without first being sponsored by a FINRA member firm. This will be known as the Securities Industry Essentials exam (SIE exam).
