Bangladesh is heavily criss-crossed by rivers and canals, bridge constructions are more focused on the first one. Small villages and communities face hardles in a daily basis due to the lack of bridges over the canals. During any emergency situation, such as natural disasters like cyclone, this small problem becomes life threatening.

In this episode of Amrai Pari a small community of Khajura village shows how to build a wooden bridge all by themselves. This bridge helps them saving almost half an hour to reach nearby cyclone centre. During disaster this will be a lifesaver, mostly for the vulnerable people like the elderlies, children, pregnant women and the weaker ones.

They will also demonstrate how to come up with an easy solution to the leakage problem of the windows of that cyclone centre.
