Instructions:


Bag Lining Walls:
1. Cut 4 fabric lining pieces and 2 batting pieces appropriate for the size of your bag.
2. Sandwich the fabric with batting (lining / batting / lining), 2 times. (You will be left with Side 1 and Side 2)
3. Baste with spray adhesive or pin together, both halves
4. Set aside

Top Binding Strip:
1. Using your lining fabric, cut two 2 ¼” strips, fold in half and press with an iron.

Bag Construction
1. Quilt both bag lining/batting pieces
Stitch around the edges to keep layers in place
2. Take the pressed binding with the fold side facing away, sew it to the top of your bag lining, 2 times
Fold the binding upward toward the raw edge and curve it around to the back, sew it along that edge
Trim excess biding and discard
3. Using a chalk pen or sharpie, mark out 2 inch squares in both bottom corners.
4. Line up both quilted panels (ensuring that both bound top edges are together).
Sew along the outside
5. Cut out the 2 inch squares marked earlier
6. Zig Zag Stitch to finish the seams
7. Nest the seams
Sew ½” seam allowing along the corner seam (be sure to back stitch)
Zig zag stitch the raw edge
8. Place finished bag lining inside your crocheted bag and hand stitch the lining to the outer fabric along the top edge.
