I have started to mark up the original Schematic to determine where i need to reroute the circuit points. I am finding the old circuit somewhat confusing. I have also been studying up on Transistors and logic and am seeing what i think are routing errors in the original layout. As I made changes in the pin board I was using some of my newfound logic and was able to see where to make a change and improve the brake function. I can see here now I will need to redesign the whole board. Which is a good thing because I have that Motor on detector circuit on a bread board hanging underneath the Puff & Chuff Board. So I want to bring that circuit up the Puff & Chuff board as i will be seeing some open real-estate with this new design. I will fully test all the circuits before I build another PCB. The time if takes to do it and then get the board made you need to verify everything is right before opening new PSBs. Good news is I can use most all the parts just fewer of them. I am so surprised that I am finding out my old worn out brain can actually absorb some new stuff and then do the Design thing with it. Getting old sometimes makes you feel behind in your times. This project the whole Royal Blue Next Generation S project has been so rewarding. And I have 4 customers waiting for their Royal Blue kits. That is amazing. I hope this project opens doors for more special work to help push these beautiful Flyer engine to newer better designs and operations. Gotta save them all if we can. Take care guys and keep watching we are gearing up to have a place to see our stuff and order some of it. D
