Lasko EcoQuiet Whirlwind Orbiting Fan: Impressions & Demonstration.

Following the recent trend of orbiting motion oscillating fans (think Ozeri, WooZoo, Accutek, just to name a few), Lasko has introduced their own take on these fans as well. While this fan is miles different from the original 1990s model of the Whirlwind, there are plenty of nods to the old version that helped revive the name in this new decade.

This isn’t the first fan Lasko has created with advanced technology, but it perfectly demonstrates their interest in staying up-to-date with the EcoQuiet BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) motor. Overall, it has the same quality as most modern Lasko products. Though primarily built with plastic, it has done a great job maintaining an even temperature in the basement, running 24/7 for the past few months.

Lasko tends to be conservative with their designs, often getting them right the first time, so seeing a new fan in their lineup is always a treat. Very well done, Lasko!
