A woman has shot amazing footage of a rare live sand dollar on a U.S. beach.

April Morris, 50, of Medford, Oregon, USA, found the sea creature washing up along the shore in Crescent City, California.

Shortly after picking up the critter, she was stunned at the fact that its hundreds of legs were moving.

The tourist decided to get some footage of the rare occurrence so that she could show it to her nieces and nephews.
