USS Utah BB 31/AG 16 - "The Silent Sentinel of Pearl Harbor"

USS Utah (BB-31/AG-16) was more than just a battleship. She was a vessel that weathered the tides of change in the U.S. Navy's history. Commissioned in 1911 as part of the Florida-class of dreadnought battleships, Utah served as a symbol of America's growing naval power during the early 20th century. She underwent a significant transformation from a frontline battleship to a gunnery training ship. Yet, her legacy is forever tied to the tragic events of December 7th, 1941, when she was among the first casualties of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
