This is a fascinating story that begins for me twenty-five years ago when I find a book in a secondhand bookshop. The book has an article about the discovery in the 1850s of the supposed mummified head of Henry Grey Duke of Suffolk, the father of Lady Jane Grey and leads me on a quest to learn more. This video explores that extraordinary discovery and looks at the finding of two other naturally preserved mummies in London churches, looking particularly at the shocking story of the desecration and exploitation of human remains.
