Bajaj has launched new Bajaj Chetak 35 Series in India.

The electric scooter is available in eight colour options, spread across two variants. There’s also a third variant, the Chetak 3503, but Bajaj is yet to reveal its price and specifications.

Bajaj Chetak 3501 and the Bajaj Chetak 3502 get five colours each. However, some paint schemes are shared between the two while some colours are exclusive to each variant.
The 3501 is the top-spec trim that is available in Green, Hazelnut, Indigo Metallic, Black, and Matte Red shades. Meanwhile, the mid-spec 3502 variant gets the Indigo Metallic, Brooklyn Black, Matte Charcoal Grey, and Cyber White paint schemes.
3502 and 3501 priced at Rs 1.20 lakh and Rs 1.27 lakh (both ex-showroom), respectively.

The Chetak 35 Series gets a new 3.5 kWh battery pack which promises an IDC range of 153 km on a single charge. This battery supplies energy to a hub-based 4 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor. Top speed is rated at 73 kmph. There are two ride modes offered: Eco and Sport.

Talking about features, the new Chetak 35 Series continues to have a metal body. Bajaj Auto has expanded the wheelbase and seat length of the Chetak electric scooter, meaning that it has more leg and knee room and a handsome 35-litre underseat storage. For reference, the seat length has increased by 80mm.

Also, there is a new touch TFT display with storage space, integrated map, and calling music control features. Bajaj Auto has also developed a new app to control several features of the Chetak electric scooter, including geo-fencing and accident detection.

The electric scooter now boasts a 950W on-board charger. It is claimed that the battery can be charged from 0-80% in just three hours.
