This is a video about the 2005 Video Game by capcom, Resident Evil 4, the fourth addition (well not really the fourth but oh well) to the Resident Evil franchise. More specifically I go through the opening bits and also talk about the narrative and gameplay of Resident Evil 4 with reference to Cult Horror (viz. The Wicker Man and Midsommar) and the "End of History and the Last Man" and how Resident Evil 4 can be interpreted as a reaction to the increasingly precarious, post 9/11 world which has had its individualist ideals questioned.
