The definition of a bot varies a lot from platform to platform.

It's actually a big confusion in the marketplace, and there are no standards.

For Blue Prism, think of a bot as a unit of capacity. It is able to process one automation one minute and then another automation the next minute.

And it just keeps processing until you run out of time in the day.

Blue Prism calls them Digital Workers because it's just like a person will go from one task to another task, doing one thing at a time. They take as long as it takes to process that activity.

And when they're done, they move on to the next one.

So you have 24 hours of processing capacity and how you use it is up to you. If the applications that the Bot are using are available, then your bot can run for you.
