2024 - The City League Men's Championship Game

The defending TCL Champion, Mambos Cheesesteak Grill, marched into the 2024 TCL Title Game as heavy favorites. They looked to be first team in The City League's 8 year history to win back to back championship. The Darius Adams and Marquis Teague led group came into the contest having only lost one game in two years. Their opponent, Prudential, didn't have any players who had competed at a Division I school while in college. It was a matchup of the talented, established veterans vs the young, up and comers. Michael Tillman and Zac Owens' scrappy group battled the Champs all game. With the Target Score set at 63 and Prudential up 62-60 the contest came down to next basket wins. Jomel Boyd hit Greencastle all-time leading scorer Brody Whitaker on a back door cut for the game winner. Prudential is your 2024 The City League Champion!
