15 Unbelievable Stunts People Pulled

Everyone has special skills. There’s something about each individual person that makes them different from others around them. But some people’s skills are so impressive that they get a lot of attention, especially if they entail doing things that put their lives in danger. And if you are one of those who likes dangerous things, then I’m sure you have tried some unbelievably crazy stunt before, but I doubt it’s as crazy as the things you’ll watch today. In today’s video, we’ll be looking at “15 Unbelievable Stunts People Pulled.” The people I’ll show you today had the time and the courage to try things that not many people would dare to try. Let’s have a look at these things and let’s find out what’s the craziest stunt ever pulled.

The Snake River Canyon Jump

Evel Knievel was known for using his motorcycle to jump over buses, trucks, and fountains. Clearly, he had great control over his machine to try these crazy things. But things got a little out of hand when he tried to jump over the Snake River Canyon in Utah on September 8, 1974. He was trying to ride across a mile-wide chasm, but he couldn’t make it to the other side. Luckily, his emergency parachute deployed a bit too early, which is probably part of the reason why he made it out alive. But his bike wasn’t that lucky. The thing crashed against the canyon’s floor. Still, he gets credit for trying! Not many people would try to ride their bikes over a deep canyon.

Escaping a Submerged Crate

Stories of Harry Houdini can easily make us think that he was a magician well ahead of his time. But there’s nothing magic about defying death. This guy was just very skilled and still, we don’t know how he did half of the things that made him famous. One of his most renowned acts is the one in which he would be locked in handcuffs and leg irons inside a submerged nailed-shut crate before he would escape without a reasonable explanation. He first performed this stunt in New York’s East River in the year 1912. And when he did it, it took him less than 1 minute to get out from a position that was threatening to drown him. What a talented man!

The 702-Feet Dive

You would expect an airplane pilot to be able to pull some sort of impressive air-related stunt. But Herbert Nitsch, a pilot for Tyrolean Airways, became famous for a stunt he performed underwater. This guy is a free diver and he was able to descend 702 feet in just one breath! This stunt was performed in 2007 in a spot off Spetses in Greece. A few years ago, he tried to do 800 feet, but he almost died while trying! However, in 2012, he surpassed his own limits by reaching a depth of 831 feet, which allows him to keep the title as “the deepest man on Earth.” Nitsch got injured in the process of topping his own records, but I bet he is satisfied to know that no other man in the world has dared to attempt the things he’s done.
Buried Alive

I don’t think anyone would like to be buried while still being alive. I feel like that’s everyone’s nightmare! But there’s one guy who actually did this on purpose, just to prove his endurance skills. In 1999, magician David Blaine was put in a cramped plastic coffin underneath a huge tank filled with water and he stayed there for seven days. The guy didn’t have access to food and the only thing he would do to stay alive was drinking three tablespoons of water per day. And also, they gave him a buzzer that he could use in the case of an emergency. Obviously, Blaine managed to get out of it without a problem. He’s still alive today and is remembered for trying this crazy challenge. Apparently, Houdini also tried to do something like this, but he died before he got the chance to do so.

Mount Everest in Shorts

The highest peak on Earth is obviously one of the coldest places on Earth. That’s why people wear clothes that will cover them and keep them warm. But there’s one person who dared to go to Mount Everest wearing nothing but shorts.
