MTB Madeira island Day 1: Beautiful but Brutal!

Day 1 of our Madeira island mountain bike trip! We ride some crazy trails, crash in a huge hole in the ground, and later on Craig breaks his collarbone!

Madeira island is a location i've wanted to ride ever since seeing it in YouTube videos around 8 years ago, it was a crazy experience to be able to go and see the island for myself, from the busy streets of Funchal, to the beautiful rainforests and mountains. There are a lot more bike trails here than i was expecting, over 74 to be precise! Loads of berms, jumps, loam, rocks and roots... a little bit of everything with trails that cater for all riders from beginners to experts and pros! Hopefully you enjoy this video showcasing a bit of enduro, freeride and downhill riding.
