Midori Takada Special Mix by Zen Bromley

2017 sees the first ever re-release of Takada-san's 1983 album “Through The Looking Glass" on WRWTFWW and Palto Flats.
So it seemed like a good time to share a mix of some of my favourite tracks that this incredible and extraordinary percussionist and composer from Japan has created over the last 25+ years.
This is a 75 minute selection of tracks from the two Mkwaju Ensemble albums "Mkwaju" and "Ki-Motion", both released in 1981, Taiko Legend Eitetsu Hayashi's 1983 album "Messenger of the Wind", Takada-sans two solo albums "Through the Looking Glass" (1983) and "Tree of Life" (1999) and the 1990 collaboration "Lunar Cruise" with celebrated Japanese Jazz Pianist Masahiko Satoh.
I made this mix to share my love for this amazing music however if Takada-san or any other relevant copyright holders would like me to remove this mix or any of the tracks from it then let me know.
