Dedicated GTX 1080 Ti Mining Card - What About Gamers?

Recently we have been getting rumors that Nvidia will be releasing a dedicated GTX 1080 Ti mining card for crypto miners.

Now that is confirmed and the stripped down P102-100 will deliver reasonably well hash rates. With Ethereum hashrates reaching up to 47 MH/s.

But what does this mean for the gaming GPU market? Will there now be more GTX 1080 Ti's for gamers to buy, or is it just going to get worse?
