INDIA - Asia - Two classical Orissa dances

The names of the dance performance, the dancers and the musicians are not known to me. Therefore I had to mark my (this) video with my logo. A few years ago I have however made sure that a dvd with 3 dances (incl. these 2) was given to the members of this group, by sending the dvd along with someone doing the Orissa journey once more.

During this performance it was told that the lady dancer is deaf. In that case it is an extra special achievement to be able to dance like this.

Update April 2013: the dancers are Sonali Mohapatra and Rahul Acharya (thx to comments from BahamaUncleLee and Tricorn0410). I filmed this performance almost by coincidence in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India, on the 8th of February 2007.
